This betting tradition within my clique actually started with me and An.
A.N. is an Indian, the annoying brainiac who sits beside me in class.
She is always and forever the first in school. Very demoralising to sit beside her.
She scored 90+ for everything except English.
Well we were waiting for our results ans she was fretting over her papers. (Which she all aced. Don't ever trust her.) She bet that if she scored an A1 (74<) she'll treat me to chocolates.
Me, I was anxious to receive my A.Maths paper. I failed my A.Maths in Sec 3. T_T
She bet that if I scored and A1 in A.Maths, I have to treat her to a drink.
So, I did treat her... 50 cents drink haha. XD
And she owed me a chocolate (obviously), which I have been pestering about for days. :3
And she finally gave it to me yesterday~ It's still in my fridge. 3/4 eaten. :D
I was expecting a small, bite-sized chocolate, since the drink was only 50cents.
She gave me a whole stick of Toblerone. Like, wow. Of course I shared. :)
I made bets other people for our Prelims, since this actually gave us a goal to strive for.
I bet with Fish that if I scored an A1 in Biology, she will treat me to bubble tea.
If she scored an A1 in Physics, I have to treat her.
I bet with Donkey that if I scored A1 for e.maths, I will treat her to something... Not sure what.
If she scored A (A1 or A2) in a.maths or e.maths, she'll treat me... Cause I kinda tutored her on some questions. It's her way of saying thanks. :)
I bet (again) with A.N. that if I get A1 for English, I'll treat her to.. A meal? Hmm. Undecided.
If she scored the A1, she'll have to treat me to the same thing. :D
At this rate, I'll go broke after Prelims haha. XD

Class Outing- The one and only
This happened before I received my mid-year results. I just suddenly remembered that I didn't post it. :)
18th May. My 16-years-and-one-month anniversary. Haha. XD
Ok well we were supposed to gather at Vivo City at 12, where we will take the monorail into Sentosa. Prior to that, I met up with a few of my friends at Tampines Interchange at 11 where we took the MRT to Vivo.
Prior to even that, I met up and Donkey since we were supposed to bring $5 worth of snacks each.
So we went to FairPrice at 10am.
These are the people that I met up with at Tampines: Donkey, Fish, Bird and Yx.
This is a blog so I'm gonna be very frank, since the mentioned people aren't reading anyway.
I don't really like Bird. Actually, me and Donkey don't really like her. She has this super "cute" voice that rubs you on the wrong side. Seriously, I can't stand high-pitched voices. Ugh. =_=
Also, she always complains. ALWAYS. It's irritating.
She can do something wrong, like say bring food to class, gets caught by the teacher, forced to throw away, then COMPLAIN COMPLAIN COMPLAIN about how bad and how wrong the teacher is. With no censorship.
Even worse, Bird is an only child and is very, very pampered.
She gets everything she wants, and her parents ALWAYS complain to the school.
Like say we have an add-on exam, say English composition on top of Maths paper, on Tuesday. And on Wednesday, we have Physics paper.
Us students will nag a bit among ourselves, but Bird, she went and complained to her parents.
And her parents complained to the school and as a result, only Bird was allowed to take the paper on another day.
WTH???
Ugh. Ok, end of sub story.
Sadly enough, Bird had called me in the morning and she kept asking about whether I bought the things or not. And since I'm (sadly) not mean, I told her that me and Donkey were gonna meet up earlier to buy it. And Bird was like "Oh! Ok can I join you all?"
Me, I can't be a cruel girl. T_T
So I said yes, but I told her to come at 10.30am instead.
And surprise surprise, me and Donkey met at 10, shopped finish by 10.20, and waited until 10.50am before Bird came. =_=
WTH.
As a result, we were a little late for the 11am gathering at Tamp MRT station.
(Wow, long post.)
We (the group of 5) were late. We reached Vivo at around 12.15pm instead of 12.
However, others were even worse. When we reached at 12.15, only ONE OTHER GUY was there.
Ugh talk about punctuality!
It was close to 1 pm before HALF THE CLASS came, and we decided to go first.
We went to Siloso beach of Sentosa, and spent the whole day there.
The other half of the class (most guys) came at 3pm. =_=
To sum things up, the class outing FAILED.
We all played in out own cliques instead of as a whole class.
Me and my clique (donkey, fish, Wr, An. Actually there's one more but we all dislike her. She pushed her way in sighs.. Bq.) played volleyball and had a BLAST.
None of us are in volleyball nor do we play it. Ever.
So we were complete rookies who upgraded adequate players by the time we went home.
Oh, we didn't spend the whole day playing.
We went on walks, had lunch, played captain's ball, badminton, played with the sea and such.
I reached home at 9pm.
Others even worse... The end.

Funny Incidents In The Hall
Like the title suggests, these are the interesting things that happened in the hall.
We were seated in the hall for the Mid-Years since they wanted to let us have the "O" Level experience.
Let me tell you first-hand, the Hall is AWFUL. Ugh.
I'm like, the second last in the first row.
19 18 |
20 17 |
21 16 |
22 15 |
I'm 17 (not age), and my class has 19 girls and 20 boys, so number 19 is still a girl.
The line beside my row represents the corridor of the OPEN-SPACED hall leading to the parade square, aka school carpark.
So my seat is very bad. The cars parking, students talking, heels clicking etc, I could hear EVERYTHING.
Try concentrating in that kind of environment. Even worse, it mostly rains on the day that I have to take examinations in the hall. Almost always. D<
It's a open hall, so there aren't any walls to block the rain water from getting me and my paper wet. Number 18 has it bad too.
This is what happened on my A.Maths paper 2.
It wasn't just raining, it was POURING. With the wind howling and all. The downpour started the second the teacher said "you may start". =_=
I completely wasted around 3 minuted trying to grab my papers and all, since we have a TON of papers for A.Maths. I think it was 12 sheets...? Can't remember the exact number.
Guess what happened? The wind was so strong, my PENCIL CASE got blown off the table. Go figure.
That happened in the first minute of the exam. By the second minute I was laughing and jumping around trying to grab my papers. By the third I finally settled down and was trying to write.
18 told me afterwards that she wasted 10 minutes laughing at my actions... She didn't finish the paper. :x
Oopsies.
I think this happened after the E.Maths paper 1. I can't remember what paper it was.
Well 18 loves bananas (the fruit). She brings a banana to school everyday to eat during the break in between papers. I think 20 was unconsciously influenced by her bananas.
20 is those kind that... Very crude, outgoing, acts-however-he-wants sort. Not to mention having an incurable sailor mouth. Sigh...
But still, he isn't those gangster type. He's actually quite nice if you bypass the cursing and perverted mind.
Well like I said, he's a don't-care-about-rules type.
So he brought a banana and something else (food) for the E.Maths paper 1.
I saw that he brought the banana with him at the beginning of the paper.
At the end of the paper, I was dazing around and I saw the banana skin on his table.
WTH????
19 says she saw him eat the banana during the exam. =_=
He's the... Impossible type. But still, more manageable than my brother.
During the Chinese examination, the express chinese and the higher chinese pupils were divided..
We were pushed to the back of the class. Meaning, the express chinese pupils sit in register number first, then followed by us HCL pupils. We were still all in our classes, of course.
Well in my previous post I said that I hated my previous seat, right? Well my Chinese seat is even worse.
I was pushed to the 6th seat of the second row. EXTREMELY BAD.
The stupid fans were like blowing at my back and my papers I spent half the time cursing inwardly.
Can't concentrate at all, with your hair flying all over your face and the papers flying away as well.
Halfway through paper 1 (composition and letter), there was a suddenly strong gust of wind from those stupid fans that had all my papers flying as far as the 4th row. =_=
I'm in the 2nd row. Wasted precious time. @#$(*&^%$#!!!!
GAHHHHHHHH!!!
At the start of the examination, I've already predicted that that would've happened, and I asked at least 3 teachers to OFF THE FREAKING FANS. 2 forgot completely while the third gave a lousy excuse not to off them.
My head was THROBBING because the stupid fans were blowing directly at my head for 2 hours!!
I couldn't think, couldn't concentrate, couldn't even stop cursing. I was that distracted.
Amazing where my B4 came from.
Ok well this is about where I stop. I'll add on if I remember anything else.
Actually they were very funny at that time, but I'm not a good story teller, so maybe they won't seem funny now.. Oh, well. :/

Mid-Year Exams 2011
I got back all of my results by Friday.
Overall quite happy. ^^
Let's list all the subjects.
Warning: May contain some boasting.
English:
Very, very sad. I obtained a B3.. D':
Wanna know why? Because of my composition and letter.
Those two used to be my saving graces, and look what happened.
My average was around 21/30 for both, which is considerably good.. And an A.
Well this time neither of them hit above 20. OMG.
I was sooo depressed!!!! Compo and letter were the two that I confirm confirm could score above average!!
T_T Wahhh...!!
Well the mark for the letter wasn't really a surprise since it was a disaster.
I didn't know what to write, and didn't elaborate on the most important points.
I was so confident of my story you know? I chose to write a narrative on "Magic".
I wrote about the "magic of imagination" and I personally thought it was pretty good.
But instead the teacher disagreed with me and said it was a "sad excuse for magic". Quoted.
Ouch, huh. There flies my confidence.
Chinese (Higher):
I am extremely, super happy about this.
I got a B4!!! B4!! Can you believe it??
My chinese was straight C's all through last year!
And this paper I completely didn't know how to do and was CRAPPING all the way for the compo and letter.
And for paper 2 I didn't understand what they were talking about.
For the MCQ I didn't know how to do a single qns. Everything anyhow answer. That one i actually scored a 8/20 I think.
Very bad score, but more than I expected already. YAYYYY!!!!! <3
E.Maths:
A BIG disappointment. Seriously. E.Maths is like, the one subject that I confirm confirm can score an A1!
I got an A2 instead. D':
It's not that I couldn't score, it's just that I didn't.
I hate you, careless mistakes!!!
Well I shouldn't be surprised anyhow, since I only slept for 3 hours the night before the E.Maths paper, cramming for Physics...
Nevermind. Sleep more. Extremely important.
A.Maths:
Very, very happy too.
I scored an A1!!! Even better, I scored 80+!!!! :D :D :D
This is a HUGE improvement from last year. I failed A.Maths last year.
YAYYYYYY!!!! <3
Thank you, tuition centre.
Biology:
A BIG disappointment. Like E.Maths, Bio was a subject I confirm confirm could SCORE.
Likewise, I got an A2. T_T
Enough said.
Chemistry:
A surprise, really. Chem was one of the last few papers and by then, I was so tired. Didn't wanna study.
So I mainly skipped anything that had to do with plain memorising, like the Haber process to name one.
And guess what?
It was those that mainly came out! Ugh. Tough luck.
Well I actually scored a B3. Quite happy, given that I didn't study much. My brain was dead by the time Chemistry came.
Physics:
Ok, I'm happy about this too. Physics was never one of my stronger subjects.
I actually scored an A2 and was HALF A MARK away form A1!!!
And my teacher couldn't find a compassionate bone in him to give me 0.5 more marks. T_T
Still, I'm quite happy about the A2, cause I slept like 3 hours the night before for Physics.
Phy paper 2 was on the same day as E.Maths paper 2.
C. Humanities:
The "C" stand for combined. I don't take pure Humanities since it wasn't offered along with pure sciences in my year. Again, tough luck.
I take combined Social Studies and History.
History was a shock, since I scored 41/50 for the first time ever!!! :D :D
SS was a disappointment, but not unexpected. I think I scored a 31/50... Which is what I usually score for History last year.
Only last year, I could scored like 44/50 for Social Studies which would've then pulled me up to an A1.
But this time round, 41+31 gives me a 72 which is a A2. Expected, but still saddening anyway.
Well that's the end of my results.. Did you notice something? NO C'S!!! YAYYYYYYY!!!!
NOT FOR CHINESE!!!! :D :D :D :D
Spread my joy, yeah?
Overall quite happy. ^^

Well that's the end of my results.. Did you notice something? NO C'S!!! YAYYYYYYY!!!!
NOT FOR CHINESE!!!! :D :D :D :D
Spread my joy, yeah?

Stupid Brother
Yes I have a brother. A younger, extremely annoying and insufferable one. I won't put any names, even though he so deserves it!!
He's 4 years younger than me, meaning he's in primary 6.
PSLE year. Although he doesn't act like it!
And he's no genius, meaning his scores are... Unbelievable.
He doesn't even BOTHER studying, so serves him right.
Even my mother gave up nagging him already.
He's like those kind of problem child that no matter how you scold, no matter how you yell or punish him, he won't study means he WILL NOT study.
So my ma gave up on him. Me, I never cared.
He started bringing his friend over a few months ago, and the visits were once-a-week frequent.
UGH!!
Up until now I still don't know his friend's name.
The friend must be counting his lucky stars for that.
And that friend and his family are a bit... Off.
A few screws loose. Seriously.
The friend's Dad bought a HACKING DEVICE from who know where, and the friend's sister's boyfriend HACKED into my house computer.
Not the one I'm using, duh. This laptop is MINE.
Yes, they had the AUDACITY to HACK into my house computer!!
->BEWARE SCREWS COMING OUT<-
And how does the friend try to compensate us?
By offering to install a internet security system free for us!
WTH???
I want them to GET RID OF THE STUPID HACKING DEVICE and SAY SORRY!
We do not need their MONEY!!!!
UGH!!
This is a problem of MORALS... Which they obviously are lacking in.
Know what's even worse?
My STUPID brother refuses to take responsibility for his friend!
HIS friend! Not mine. Not Mum's. Not Dad's. HIS.
He kept saying this was UNAVOIDABLE 'cause even if he didn't meet the friend, our computer would have been hacked anyway.
WHAT THE HECKKK????
And 'till now that COWARD still doesn't dare to tell my Dad what had happened.
COWARD!!!!!
I told my mum not to tell Dad cause that coward has to take full responsibility... Which he has proven to be incapable of.
Argggghhhh so mad right now.
Do not make me mad. It ain't pretty. You can ask my bro. >D
