The Horrors Of Snow White
My friend and I started discussing the various characters in Disney's Snow White (for some reason) and she told me that the seven dwarves represented the seven deadliest sins. Well I got interested and went home to research. I couldn't find anything on the dwarves representing the sins, but I did find other more disturbing things.
Some aspects of the original Disney did retain, most Disney did not because it wasn't age appropriate.
1. In the original, the queen wanted snow's liver and lungs. And she wanted to eat it (in some cultures ppl believe a person's attributes could be obtained through consumption). CANNIBALISM.
2. Snow White was SEVEN when she became the 'fairest in the land'.
I know what you're thinking; WTH right? That is so messed up. How can a seven-year-old girl be the 'fairest WOMAN in the land'??
3. The huntsman did not kill Snow because he was in love with her beauty. PEDOPHILE.
4. Snow was displayed in a glass coffin instead of being buried. Pervert dwarves.
5. Snow did not wake up from the prince's kiss. The bit of apple dislodged from her throat when one of the servants carrying the glass coffin tripped.
The prince demanded to have Snow's coffin. What he wanted to do with e dead seven-year-old's body, well, it's up to your imagination... Or not. NECROPHILIA and PEDOPHILIA.
Such a dark story. However, I think Sleeping Beauty is by far the worst. Go research it up yourself, the post is too long. :)

Stress
I'm becoming more stupid day by day. Most definitely due to lack of sleep.
I have thought a lot about many issues, but the moment I want to type them out, I forget what I was thinking of. Sigh... Dementia at 17 years old.
Anyway, I'm just here to do a disclaimer and scold my past self for a bit.
During the O Level period last year, I complained how stressful it was and what not. But now I just feel like telling myself and all those secondary 4 people "SHUT YER TRAP". Wait till you come JC. I miss O Levels so much. That's how bad it is right now.
I'm getting an average 5-hour sleep each day, and I don't even have the time to slack off.
So now I have this "Holy Saturday" no-work policy. Strictly no studying on Saturdays. Not sure if it's effective, but I need it.
Oh yeah. I did this for my friend yesterday and am obviously happy with the outcome. But I used water colour so she can't wash her shoes HAHAHAHAHA.

Took 30 mins to do that because my paint were all dried up. I used paint FLAKES to blend the colours LOL. Easier to use flakes actually. They spread out more evenly.
Original plan was blue and red then draw cartoons. But, oh well.

Teachers and Language
Just a few days ago, my Dad said I was a perfectionist. Well he obviously has never seen my homework before lol.
He said that because I complained about the ridiculously poor English language most teachers in Sg have.
He said I can't expect everyone to have that certain high standard.
But come on! They are teachers. Educators. A student is only as good as his teacher.
If they speak poor English, us students will have the poor language that they use to teach with.
Aside from English teachers, most of the other teachers have extremely heavy singlish accent which is awful. Plus, singlish 'entitles' usage of some kind of bad grammar.
My grammar is getting worse. I'm making all the stupid grammar mistakes now that I had never made in secondary school. I AM SERIOUSLY GETTING WORRIED CAN. @_@
