My KFC Dilemma

Here's the thing about KFC and I... We either stay far far away from each other, or we are inseparable.
Don't get me wrong, I love KFC, really. I think they make the best chicken meat (on off-peak hours).
But, too much meat makes me sick. Not literally, but it just makes the sight of meat repulsive to me.

KFC is like a monthly visitor. We meet once a month for two consecutive days. ALWAYS. I have no idea why it happens.

One day every month, I'll be thinking, "hmmm, haven't had KFC in a long while" and then I'll invite my friends to have KFC dinner with me after school.
And then the very next day, either my father or my mother will spontaneously decide to treat the family to dinner of KFC.

It happens every single time.

It's not like I have a routine either. It's not an exact-day cycle but rather a around a month cycle. Sometimes a couple of days early, sometimes a couple of days late. Yes, it sounds like the menstrual cycle (LOL) but it's not because my KFC cycle is only for two nights.

I had KFC dinner with my friends yesterday and again with my family tonight. So... yeah. Creepy KFC.

Wreck-it-Ralph

I really really liked this movie. It hit humor, adventure, fantasy and romance genres, albeit the romance was weird. Like all Disney movies, it does have a 'lesson learnt'.
I do think that this movie is underrated. I liked it better than I liked 'Rise of the Guardians'. :)

If you are a cartoon fan, go and watch. Definitely go and watch.

2013 'O' Level Results

It seems that my secondary school, Hai Sing Catholic School, did so much better this year than with my cohort last year. According to my friend, a bunch of them had raw 6-9 pointers. WHAT. I feel disappointed... Because I really, really, really don't like my juniors.

Last year, I think the lowest net was 5. I got a 7 even though I have only 5 A's and that's one of the lowest net scores already. I think the dire situation of our cohort last year shocked them all. It's not our fault; I think we did better than we expected to do actually. My school only had 1 prelims, and they hadn't even finished teaching the syllabus in August!!!
I can't say anything about their system this year, because I've lost contact with all my juniors... As I said, I don't like them.

Is seems like as the generations go by, humans are becoming uglier both physically and emotionally. I like my seniors way more than I like my juniors. Or maybe I just happen to come into contact with the wrong representatives... I don't know. PS, I'm talking about pre-plastic people. We are also getting shorter, if you hadn't noticed.
I've asked a few of my friends and they all agree.... So much for human evolution. Then again, I can only speak from what I observe in Singapore where blood is mixed so much, everything is a mush.

I feel like I'm gonna offend a lot of people with this post. ):
This is, after all, my blog where I state my opinions. Ok off to sleep~

Happy New Year!

So... It's 2013 here in Singapore at 2.40am. I just reached home lol. XD

The countdown sucked. I went to Tampines Stadium countdown party (we were the ones who didn't buy tickets and just waltzed in). I couldn't understand a single word the announcer was saying plus today was a rainy day. The air was so cool that the party just felt so dull and lifeless. AND they didn't even countdown from 10!!! All they said was "2, 1" and I was like "is it over already??"

So going to Taiwan next year for countdown.

My mom welcomed the new year being mad at me because I went to watch a movie immediately after the countdown. Sighhhh. So much for 2013. She refused to come fetch me and said that she would rather me walk home, ALONE, than come fetch me.
I took the taxi home. Even taking a cab is dangerous. Call me paranoid if you must, but a 17 year old girl taking a cab alone, at 2 in the morning just screams DANGER.

Parents, even if you are mad at your child, DO NOT PUT THEIR SAFETY ON THE LINE. Don't do anything that you'll regret. I really rather her come fetch me and shout at me or ground me or whatever than tell me to walk home alone. It's a 1 hour walk, by the way. In a (comparatively) dark place surrounded by trees. Really, mom?

My friend's even worse. She has but a 10 minute walk home from the MRT, but she has to walk through a park, at 2 am. It's even more deserted than what I would have had to walk through. And her older brother refused to come and fetch her. A 10 minute walk.
She thinks it's normal, but I think otherwise.

10 minutes can mean life and death. Yes I am exaggerating, but this is a fact that cannot, and should not, but overruled. Do not take your safety for granted. Human trafficking, rape, murder, theft.... These are all dangers that are real and out there. Yes, they do not happen to everyone. In fact, seemingly quite rare in Singapore. But who knows, you might just be the lucky ones. Walking alone in a park is practically flashing a neon sign to bad people.

Do not take your safety for granted.

Ugh such a serious tone for the first post. Let's talk about something else then. After the movie, me and my two friends decided to play with sparkles~
We just decided on the back of a mall. There was so much smoke everywhere (oops) that the POLICE came and, in simple terms, kicked us home.
Because unlucky for us, it was windy and the wind blew the smoke towards the 24-hr Coffee Bean customers (oops). We really didn't know that there was anyone there.

But what bothered me was that when one police asked us how old we where, and we replied "17", his follow-up question was "are you from JC or Poly".
Does it matter??
When we replied "JC", he actually sounded relieved.
Does it matter what level our education was?
Being in a JC doesn't mean you're smarter or more educated. Being in a Poly doesn't mean you're stupid or less educated. I know of some damned smart people who opted for Poly instead.

Guess what I'm saying is, don't judge. Nobody has the right to judge anyone else, because its not like you know every small detail of what makes that person who he or she is. You don't know how he thinks. You don't know his background.

What we see of someone are results of their lives, their blood and sweat or the lack of it. The results reflect upon that person, yes, but there are dark corners that are not reflected on.

However, asking a human not to judge is like asking a bird to shed its wings. Impossible, and against our very nature.
If you want to judge, keep it to yourself. Don't influence anyone else based on your judgement.

Sorry guess I'm in "nonsensical psychiatrist" mood again. I'm tired and I'm going to sleep. Peace and HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)
