Hey guys finally updating after so long~ Totally using this to procrastinate~ (I have a 30-min presentation tomorrow I am so screwed)
Anyway a few months back, I finally had my first eye candy... If you can even call him that because I only saw the guy once on the internal shuttle bus and I never saw him again. NUS is way too big and overpopulated.
I feel like I am legit biologically wired differently, like there're a few missing nerve cells to connect my two hemispheres. I don't know. Most of the time I am able to step back and, while I'm feeling certain emotions, I'm also evaluating the cause of these emotions and be like "what the heck brain, WHY??" I have had a few small crushes that lasted for a couple of days only. My biggest crush lasted for... 2 years (?) on-off? And even then, he was not my eye candy. I was like "what the heck, why. No. No, brain. STOP" the ENTIRE time. I was conflicting with myself.
When my friends pointed out their eye candy to me, I only saw a face. Like I am logically processing, hmm, yes, that eye-nose-mouth-face proportion seems to be socially acceptably attractive... But I never felt the actual attraction you know. Maybe my standards for eye candies is too high. XD
This guy, let's call him A. I was on the shuttle bus D2 going from U-Town to Faculty of Science because I had a class there, when A boarded the bus too. I was seated down at the window seat and the seat beside me was empty. It was during the lunch rush hour when other people filed into the bus too. I had almost immediately seen him the moment he boarded the bus and I totally prayed,
"PLEASE DON'T SIT BESIDE ME I WANNA STARE AT YOUR FACE PLEASE."
But alas, he started walking towards the empty seat. "PLEASE PLEASE NO OH CRAP NO."
And when he sat down beside me, I WAS SO SAD. I mean, if he were standing a respectable distance away I could stare at him and pretend I was staring off into space or staring outside the window or something, but I can't stare at him when he's sitting beside me!!! That's way-too-obvious creepy. D':
The whole ride I forced myself to stare out the window and face the other way because if I even so much as used my phone I would be so tempted to peek GAHHH. Worst first eye candy experience.
We got off at the same stop but he walked away so fast. *sigh* I never saw him again. *RIP first eye candy*
I think he was Eurasian. I don't really remember. I don't remember his face. But I do remember that when he sat down beside me, I was thinking to myself, "hey, he smells like a Barbie doll." Which is both very memorable (come on, who smells like a Barbie doll naturally) and a huge turn off (dolls are creepy, so by smell association...).
Okay bye~
